Vigilas is able to assist in that process.

The defining strength of Vigilas lies within the collective experience of the Directors and hand picked associates. Much of that experience has been gained at senior level within the UK Police service and includes high level investigation expertise, crisis management, hostage negotiation, surveillance, financial investigation, internal investigations and mediation and training. That expertise has been enhanced by significant experience of investigations within the corporate sector.

Another defining feature of the company is its ability to work with clients in order to identify their full business requirement with a view to developing a tailored solution for the client. This may range from providing a full end to end process, which includes investigation training, through to more specific support, including the provision of independent investigation services or mentoring as required. This can cover the full spectrum of investigations, from internal grievance and conflict resolution, through to root cause analysis investigations and major compliance issues.

The training packages have been developed with the end user in mind and have been fully accredited by the UK based Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CiLEX). They can be tailored to meet the needs of the client and currently cover the training of both lead investigators and investigation team members. The courses are very practical and interactive in nature in order to immerse the delegates through the full experience of an investigation. Previous delegates have commented that the immediate feedback provided by the company members was both realistic and an excellent way to facilitate value added learning.

Grahame Bullock

Grahame Bullock

Grahame completed 31 years in the UK police service in a number of forces, achieving Chief Officer rank. He has worked extensively in the field of major crime investigation, including homicide and counter terrorism and is a trained hostage negotiator.

He has spent over 7 years at senior level in the field of corporate security, conducting high level assessments and investigations on a global basis. He holds a post graduate diploma in applied criminology (cantab), BA honours and MA in criminology. He is a fellow of the security institute and a chartered security professional.

Trevor Thompson

Trevor Thompson

Trevor has 30 years investigative experience gained in the UK police service where he achieved senior rank.

His particular skills include hostage negotiation and the conducting of in depth internal enquiries. He also has significant experience of management outside of the police service.

Vicky Thompson

Vicky Thompson

Vicky has 30 years policing experience, achieving a senior level.

She has varied investigative experience including child abuse and major crime investigations. Vicky is also skilled in grievance investigation and conflict resolution and has senior level HR experience. She is also a trained hostage negotiator and holds a diploma in criminal justice management.
